Hello Hamilton RTC and friends,
March Meeting
Just a reminder about our monthly meeting which will take place next week,
Wednesday, March 16
7:30-9:00
Hamilton
Town Hall.
In
lieu of the the traditional social (half) hour, we will begin our meeting promptly at 7:30. We will be hosting our
guest speakers, Meredith Warren and Fred Van Magness, of Lyric Consulting who have graciously agreed to join us to offer
advice and inspiration on how to communicate our message to the conservatives in our town, in turn building both our committee
and our local influence.
I realize many of us would like to go see Barbara Anderson speak at the
EIE meeting at 6:30 at the Old Library. Please make every effort to get down to town hall
by 7:30. The presence of every one of our members is critical to a group of our size!
Community Service/Fundraising
I am also pleased
to announce that we are a "go" for our first big community service event, Pancakes for Patriotism! We are scheduled
for Saturday morning, March 26. As I stated in the attached flier:
"Funds raised will be used to contribute to a Constitutional Tour of the
Liberty Bell and historic sites in Philadelphia for Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School chorus and band students. The groups
will be going to Philadelphia in early April to compete in a music seminar and the Hamilton RTC is pleased to support our
school’s educators and we are grateful that they have chosen to offer this tour to these talented students."
The American Legion
has generously agreed to donate their facility for the event, allowing us to maximize our donation. Now all we need is to
spead the word and turn out to assist. Please check your schedules and let me know at the meeting if you are able to donate
a couple hours of your day that Saturday. I will send out the meeting agend next Tuesday. If you have an item to add, please
let me know.
Candidate Support
And last but not least:
Let's show our dedicated State Rep. how much we appreciate him and will work to support him by turning
out in droves (at least as much of a drove as we can muster!) for his big annual fundraiser and all-around good time:
ST. PATRICK’S
DAY CELEBRATION WITH REPRESENTATIVE BRAD HILL
THURSDAY,
MARCH 17, 6:00-8:00pm
THE MAJESTIC DRAGON, ROUTE 1 NORTH, IPSWICH
Here ye, here ye! You are cordially invited to a St. Patrick's Day Celebration
in support of Rep. Brad Hill of Ipswich. Dinner will include Tony Wu's famous Boiled Dinner as well as his Chinese buffet.
