Not any more, July
is not a sleeper we just woke up on a different planet! comflm can upload, has a new 30 gig camera and will be saving
10.00 dollars for 3 hours of footage so........ be sure the battle to preserve the public record has just taken on a new look..
Catch of the Day, videotaped
the public hearing on July 14 2009 10.5 hours later with 3 working cameras a new day happened. It took until Thursday
night 2am to finally put the last tape in the computer to upload. That meant the new hard drive camera would be checked
out and the result is so..............sweet. What a great find. Thanks to some donors who had pity on my struggles I have a new camera. I am suggesting
that each committee purchase a camera like mine. No tapes to worry about. Just a sweet record of the public hearing.
I taped from the corner
with full view in gardner of the committee and the public and the sound without a mike port was awesome the color awesome
and the whole tape is one deal. I am downloading to the dvd now. That will be included with my package to the committees.
As this learning experince is to benefit all I am thrilled at my new findings. This makes taping cost effective and simple to administrate. Please
bear with me as I pursue the Committees to support this effort. Lean on them a little to do it.
Please visit
http://comflmregistrynews.blip.tv/, to find the many hearings Catch of the Day has covered. In the coming months the full docket of public hearings will
be posted on this site. Why not add an RSS feed and you will know what has been added. Please be patient as the
full process to upload is worked out. The process involves the proper speed for transfering files which can ruin the
final cut. Tapes can be purchased in case you would like a copy. We are putting the tapes up in the present condition
and they can be improved at a later date. Again, this project is all volunteer and has been the effort of J Aldrich to bring
attention to the necessity to preserve the public record. posting July 17 2009
