| Recount Battle Rages On
|
|
|
| Dear Janet, Election Day 2010 has come and gone, but the battle to build even bigger Republican majorities rages on. You can help Republicans win the seven races in the U.S. House and one gubernatorial
race that are still undecided by making an urgent contribution of $10, $15 or $20 to the RNC Recount Fund . Your gift will be immediately put to work ensuring that every vote in these contests is counted in a fair, precise
and even-handed manner.
Janet,
the seven races in the U.S. House still to be decided are in IL-8, NY-1, NY-25, TX-27, NC-2, CA-11 and CA-20 -- Republicans
lead in five of the seven.
Recounts have already begun in NC-2 and TX-27.
The RNC is putting on the full court press by sending staff and resources
to ensure the integrity of the vote and safeguard our Republican victories.
Democrats are rallying every resource and lawyering-up in each of these races in an effort
to bolster their anemic performance on Election Day when voters clearly rejected their arrogant, out-of-touch, and out-of-balance
governing style. The RNC is doing everything we can to protect our victories and strengthen our majorities -- and we're counting on grassroots supporters like you to make certain our candidates have the funds
to win their recount battles.
Please go the extra mile for our Republican candidates still fighting to preserve their hard-fought victories. Donate to the RNC Recount Fund today and help Republicans build on our new majorities in the U.S. House and State Houses nationwide. Thank you.

| Sincerely,
Michael Leavitt RNC Chief of Staff
P.S. Janet, the seven races in the U.S. House still to be
decided are in IL-8, NY-1, NY-25, TX-27, NC-2, CA-11 and CA-20 -- Republicans lead in five of the seven. The gubernatorial
race is in Minnesota. Don't let the Democrats sue their way to victory. Support the RNC Recount Fund right now with a contribution of $10, $15 or $20 to make certain every vote is counted. Thank you.

Newsletter November 4, 2010
MESSAGE FROM CHAIRMAN NASSOUR No one ever said the battle to get more Republicans elected in Massachusetts would be an easy fight, and we all knew
our state would not turn purple in a single election cycle. Yet this week’s election results prove our grassroots are growing and the GOP
farm team is steadily building in the Commonwealth; On Tuesday we doubled the number of Republicans in the House of Representatives! The MassGOP gained 17
seats in the House of Representatives for a total of 32 - more than a 100% increase. In comparison, Massachusetts
Republicans gained six House seats and eight Senate seats in the 1990 election. This year every incumbent Republican won as
well. One
thing we’ve always heard about Massachusetts Republicans is that we do not have substantial grassroots. For ten consecutive
cycles we have lost seats in the state Legislature. Our gains in the House this cycle will give us the energy and local
leadership we need to continue to grow the Party. This year we have already added 100 new Republican city and town committees,
and we've laid the ground work to organize more and will need your help and activism! I am proud of all of our GOP candidates and
your efforts to help end a 20-year Republican slide in the Legislature.
Our work is far from complete, but we are heading in the right direction. Sincerely, Jennifer Nassour,
Esq. Chairman Massachusetts
Republican Party 17 NEW GOP FACES ON BEACON HILL! As of Tuesday night, there are 17 new GOP faces on Beacon Hill who will continue our push to restore balance and fiscal sanity

Hedlund, Weymouth IN CASE YOU MISSED IT CLICK HERE to read the Associated Press article today, "Mass GOP sees silver lining in legislative wins." “Republicans went into Tuesday's election with just 15 House members on
Beacon Hill and came out with as many as 32. The last time there were more than 30 Republicans in the 160-member Massachusetts
House was 1996. Party leaders say the victories show they're succeeding in the gritty work of rebuilding the party from the
ground up…”We made a concerted effort to put our staff attention into the legislative races," said Jennifer
Nassour, chairwoman of the state Republican party…Republican leaders see another benefit in the new class of GOP lawmakers.
For the first time in a long time, Nassour said, the party is building up a team of future candidates for higher office…If
the party can continue to build on their legislative wins, they hope to be able to field stronger candidates down the line."This
is our farm team," Nassour said. "There are the men and women who in six years, eight years will begin to move up
the ladder into congressional and statewide office." HELPFUL LINKS: |
