My own story since November 5 back 3 years with Comcast.
This past weekend I had a problem with the internet.
So my voip phone with T Mobile doesn't work.
And my minutes turn over the 11th so that could be a problem.
So I call Comcast. They will send
someone on Monday. So I decide to fall clean and keep trying.
Monday I call T Mobile. They checked their equipment. It was Comcast. So I call Comcast who says it is Norton
the Security company and they call them. This person in somewhere other than the USA says it is comcast. So I say, stay
on the line and call them with me. Finally, he gives up with me and he decides to help from his end. It was still
Comcast. I decide to drop Comcast and peace fell on me like a river. Then a call comes in. The repairman is ready
to come by. Sure come . So they fix it and it was not recognizing my computer. Something had caused it and
they did not know what. I had a problem with Verizon a few weeks back and they shut my phone number off when I said
I was not going to take the DSL package they wanted to sell me. I had the number back but I think
Comcast
and Verizon speak to each other so when I used my phone as a recognition point Comcast said that was not a valid number?
Please anyway the repairmen leave and I go on the internet.
I have to reinstall Norton and go through that mess
of questions, and start searching. That's when Irealize the speed is so slow for my package I want to scream.
So I get on the phone it is now 5pm
again and the woman says I can have extreme for 79.95 per month no contract
6 months no tv included and transfers the call and that person says that is not true there is a 105. per month but checking
found that is not true and offers a 99. per month with no tv which I wanted and asks a question why don't I want tv.
As I am explaining I happen to mention that I was around when tv started and I don't like what is happening. I don't
want spanish tv when I don't speak spanish and it is inappropriate and buzzzzz the phone cuts off. Never to hear again.
She does not call back and if the service is not updated I am quitting comcast asap. Been wrestling with comcast all
weekend and it is insane. They slow the traffic and no one guarantees you will get a certain speed you must accept that.
I know freepress.net says that they divy the speed so you are given a certain amount of gigs per month and after it you go
to snail. I cannot have my video footage uploading to blip so the words and sound are not in cinque.
