NOTICE OF PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF REGULATIONS AND PUBLIC HEARING The Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) proposes to amend its regulations pursuant
to the authority of M.G.L. c. 6A, s. 16 and in accordance with M.G.L. c. 30A, s. 3. EOHHS will hold a public hearing on Monday,
December 22, 2008, at 9:30 A.M. in Conference Room B on the 2nd Floor, 100 Cambridge Street, Boston, MA relative to the adoption
of: 101 CMR 15.00: Criminal Offender Records Check The revisions to these regulations establish a core standardized policy and procedure
for EOHHS and its agencies, as well as specified vendor programs, to follow when reviewing Criminal Offender Record Information
(CORI) of current or prospective employees. The proposed regulations are planned to go into effect no
sooner than April 1, 2009. Interested parties are encouraged to submit comments on these proposed regulations. All persons
desiring to be heard at the public hearing are hereby notified to appear at the designated time and place. Persons who notify
EOHHS that they intend to speak will be afforded an early opportunity to testify if EOHHS receives notice by 5:00 P.M. on
December 19, 2008. Contact us by telephone at 617-988-3251 or by fax at 617-573-1843. If you do not provide advance notice,
you will still be given an opportunity to do so if you appear at the hearing and time is available. Written comments will
also be accepted up until 5:00 P.M. on January 9, 2009, and may be sent to EOHHS Publications, 600 Washington Street, 5th floor, Boston, MA 02111, or e-mailed to masshealthpublicnotice@state.ma.us.
E-mailed comments should contain the sender’s name, mailing address, and organization or affiliation, if any. All persons desiring to review the current draft of the proposed actions may go to www.mass.gov/hhs/proposedregs
or request a copy in writing or in person from EOHHS Publications, 600 Washington Street, 5th floor, Boston, MA 02111. EOHHS may adopt a revised version of the proposed actions taking into account relevant comments and any other
